YOUTUBE tutoring

  1. Nice reminder. There is so much on the Tube but I think I will look at the other sites due to the fact that sometimes this site is blocked.

  4. I use youtube a lot in my classroom. I just download the videos and insert them into my presentations so that I do not have to rely on the internet working or worry about it running slow. I am also incorporating student made work from previous years.

  5. Love this.. This is great, i do use cnn news in my classroom. It is a great tool.

  6. The great thing about this is that it is using a method familiar to students yet at the same time introducing learning in a format that is easy to digest given they are digital learners.
    Above and beyond that, the material is more present tense than physical media.

  7. I use Youtube regularly especially after a field trip. It allows the students opportunity to review information from our field trips.

  8. My kids love YouTube. In addition to all the great educational videos, I'll sometimes allow a student to choose a video for the class to watch at the end of the day (I always preview them first, because you never know......). So now I've seen a lot of videos and pictures of cats doing funny things or dressed in cute costumes.
