Reponse to Intervention

  1. So many students have "holes" in their game. Many suspect that the student needs special education. It simply goes back to really knowing your students. It could have been a bad year, the student might have missed classes due to an illness, there are just so many factors. It is our job to know what they are lacking and to help them fill in those "holes" so they can become successful.

  2. I agree completely with Ms Hatfield. We have a lot of students who are Spec Ed to some degree. A lot of these students probably just have some "holes" in their educational background that needs to be filled in. RTI early enough and even later would fill in these gapes.

  3. While creating lesson plans, one of the things to consider is the type of learning styles in your classroom, disabilities and all. It is an essential part of teaching and student learning.
